KANIGARAN –  Wali Kota Probolinggo, Rukmini meresmikan gedung UTD (unit tranfusi darah), Selasa (27/2). Sebelum dihibahkan ke PMI Kota Probolinggo, gedung yang beralamat di Jl. Soekarno – Hatta 271 Kota Probolinggo itu, ditempati Kantor Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Kota Probolinggo. Selain gedung UTD baru, Rukmini juga meresmikan pengoperasian layanan poli klinik gigi. 

Wacana untuk memperluas gedung PMI Kota Probolinggo sudah diutarakan Wali Kota Rukmini saat Cangkruan bersama sukarelawan PMI 28 April 2017 di Museum Probolinggo. ”Bu Wali menginginkan penempatan kantor UTD PMI lebih representative dan strategis bagi masyarakat. Selain itu juga pengadaan mesin RC (Refrigereted centryfius) untuk kepentingan pemisah darah (trombosit) serta merevitalisasi poli klinik PMI.  Kami mengutamakan pelayanan peserta BPJS,” ujar Ketua PMI Kota Probolinggo Indi Eko Yanuarto.   

Ketua PMI Provinsi Jawa Timur, Imam Utomo juga tampak hadir. Dalam kesempatan itu, mantan Gubernur Jawa Timur itu menyampaikan terima kasih kepada Wali Kota atas kepedualiannya terhadap PMI Kota Probolinggo. ” Terima kasih Ibu Wali Kota Probolinggo telah membantu PMI membangun gedung UTD. Tidak hanya gedung baru, Wali Kota juga menunjang operasional PMI dengan pengadaan peralatan baru salah satunya mesin RC,” tuturnya.

”Semoga dengan gedung baru dan alat yang baru, darah yang dihasilkan lebih berkualitas lagi. Ini penting dalam rangka pelayanan kepada masyrakat Kota Probolinggo.  Semoga tidak hanya alatnya yang canggih, tetapi sumebrdaya manusianya juga lebih profesional dalam melayani masyarakat Probolinggo,” tambah Imam.

Dalam sambutannya, Wali Kota Rukmini mengapresiasi terobosan yang telah dijalankan oleh PMI Kota Probolinggo.  Beberapa terobosan yang telah dilakukan PMI Kota Probolinggo di antaranya, melakukan standarisasi pengiriman sample darah, standarisasi rantai dingin, standarisasi sistem tertup serta memproduksi kantong pediantric untuk transfusi pada anak – anak  dan bayi. 

”Semoga terobosan ini semakin mengukuhkan PMI sebagai lembaga layanan kesehatan yang baik bagi masyarakat Kota Probolinggo. Tidak hanya PMI, semoga OPD tidak kalah dengan PMI. Menciptakan terobosan untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat Kota Probolinggo adalah sebuah keharusan,” harap Rukmini. (mita/humas)

 

Probolinggo Mayor, Rukmini has officially launched Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD), Tuesday (27/2). Before being granted to Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Probolinggo City, the building located at Jl. Soekarno-Hatta 271 of Probolinggo City was occupied by the Office of Society Empowerment. In addition to the launching of the building, Rukmini also launched the operation of the dental clinic poly services.

A plan to expand local PMI building has already been mentioned by Mayor Rukmini during a meeting with PMI volunteers on April 28, 2017 at Probolinggo Museum. "The mayor expects that this new unit would be more representative and strategic for the community. Besides, we also have a plan for the procurement of RC (Refrigereted centryfius) machines for the benefit of blood separator (platelets) and revitalization of PMI clinic poly. We prioritize the services of health insurance BPJS participants," said the Chairman of Probolinggo City PMI, Indi Eko Yanuarto.

The Chairman of the East Java PMI, Imam Utomo also appeared attending the event. On that occasion, the former Governor of East Java expressed his gratitude to the Mayor for her concern to PMI of Probolinggo City. "I’d like to say thanks to the Mayor of Probolinggo for helping PMI to have UTD building. Not only launching a new building, the Mayor also supported PMI's operations by procuring new equipment, one of which was the RC engine," he said.

"Hopefully with new buildings and new tools, the quality of blood will be produced even more. This is important in the context of service to the people of Probolinggo City. Hopefully, with the sophisticated tools, the human resources would be more professional in serving the people of Probolinggo," Imam added.

In her speech, Mayor Rukmini appreciated the innovations that have been carried out by PMI of Probolinggo City. Some of them are standardizing the delivery of blood samples, cold chain standardization, standardization of the closing system and producing pediantric bags for children and infants transfusion.

"Hopefully this innovation will further strengthen PMI as a good health care institution for the people of Probolinggo City. Hopefully other working units would do what PMI did. Creating an innovation for the welfare of the people of Probolinggo City is a must," Rukmini hoped.
