Sejumlah Duta Besar Bakal Nikmati Semipro

Ajang Seminggu di Kota Probolinggo (Semipro) 2016 menjadi spesial dengan kehadiran para duta besar negara sahabat. Tahun ini, diinformasikan oleh Dinas Pemuda Olahraga Budaya dan Pariwisata (Dispobpar) setempat, sebanyak 26 tamu VVIP (lihat daftar) berencana menyaksikan langsung jalannya pawai budaya –yang akan digelar 28 Agustus.

Menurut keterangan Kasi Informasi dan Promosi Wisata Dispobopar, Pandu Satria Utama, sebelum tiba di Kota Probolinggo mereka akan disuguhi kesenian tradisional dan presentasi investasi kota di salah satu hotel di daerah Jalan Tunjungan, Surabaya.

                “Gol Provinsi Jawa Timur, bahwasannya, Jatim membuka promosi atau kesempatan yang sebesar-besarnya untuk investasi, perdagangan dan pariwisata. Inilah yang coba direspon dan ditindaklanjuti oleh Pemkot Probolinggo,” ujar Pandu pada Link Go, Rabu (10/8) lalu.

                Di Probolinggo, selain menonton pawai, para duta besar nantinya akan diajak mengunjungi kawasan ekowisata BJBR, Pelabuhan Tanjung Tembaga dan Gereja Merah.

Saat ditanya, bagaimana kisahnya hingga para diplomat asing ini bisa berkunjung ke Kota Probolinggo, pria berkaca mata ini menjelaskan bahwa sejak tahun lalu pemkot memiliki kerjasama dengan Direktorat Jenderal Informasi dan Diplomasi Publik Kementerian Luar Negeri.

“Jadi kita menerima kunjungan tur diplomatik dari Kemenlu. Di 2016 ini adalah kunjungan kedua. Sebelumnya, bulan Maret, masih dalam rangka tur diplomatik, Kota Probolinggo pernah dikunjungi oleh dubes dari Jerman, Swedia, Belgia, Perancis, Korea Selatan, Finlandia, Chili, Malaysia, Brunai Darusalam dan China,” jelas Pandu.

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Kepala Dispobpar Kota Probolinggo Agus Efendi yang ditemui di ruang kerjanya mengharapkan dengan kehadiran para dubes ini dapat meningkatkan investasi dan pariwisata di Kota Probolinggo. stebbyjulionatan

 

The annual event ‘Seminggu di Kota Probolinggo’ (Semipro) 2016 is getting special due to the presence of ambassadors of friendly countries. Probolinggo city’s Youth, Sport, Culture, and Tourism Agency (Dispobpar) has informed that 26 VVIP guests would attend the cultural parade held on August 28.

According to the head of Information and Promotion of Tourism section of Dispobpar, Pandu Satria Hutama, prior to the visit of the ambassadors, they would be invited to one of the hotels in Surabaya to listen to the presentation on Probolinggo City Investment. There would be also traditional arts to be presented at the same place.

                “The objectives of East Java Province are to promote widely and to give big opportunities for investments, trades, and tourisms. This is what we’re trying to respond and be followed up by Probolinggo city administration,” Pandu told Link Go on last Wednesday (10/8).

                In Probolinggo city, besides watching the parade, the ambassadors would be invited to visit eco-tourism area BJBR, Tanjung Tembaga Harbor, and Red Church.

As was confirmed about how the ambassadors have decided to visit the city, the man in glasses explained that the local government, since last year, have a cooperation with Directorate General of Information and Public Diplomacy of Foreign Affairs Ministry.

“So, we have the visit of diplomatic tour from the ministry. This year is the second visit of the ambassadors. Previously, in last March, in a diplomatic tour, ambassadors from Germany, Sweden, Belgium, France, South Korea, Finland, Chile, Malaysia, Brunai Darusalam, and China have visited the city.

On that occasion, the head of  Dispobpar, Agus Efendi who was met at his office room, expects that the presence of the ambassadors could increase the investments of tourism in the city.
