Clean Up Pasar Bareng Kader Peduli Lingkungan

KADEMANGAN – Sabtu (16/3) pagi, Wawali Muhammad Soufis Subri ikut aksi Clean Up mendukung Hari Peduli Sampah Nasional bareng Kader Peduli Lingkungan (KPL) Kota Probolinggo. Aksi ini diharapkan bisa merubah mindset masyarakat agar lebih peduli terhadap lingkungan.

Lokasi Clean Up pertama di Pasar Triwung Kidul, Jalan Bromo, Kecamatan Kademangan. Puluhan KPL ikut terjun dalam aksi tersebut. Nampak juga Camat Kademangan Pujo Agung Satrio dan Ketua Komunitas Bebek Pro (Bersih-bersih Kali Probolinggo) Sudarmanto.

“Aksi Clean Up ini biar mindset masyarakat dalam menjaga lingkungan. Penyadaran agar masyarakat tidak membuang sampah di sembarang tempat. Dan ini sangat membanggakan karena Wawali, Pak Subri hadir di tengah-tengah kami mengikuti kegiatan ini,” kata Ketua KPL Bayuangga, Lukman Hakim.

Selama di dalam pasar, Subri bersama KPL membersihkan sampah yang berserakan di jalan atau di bawah meja jualan pedagang. Sambil menyapa warga, ia memberikan sosialisasi tentang kebersihan lingkungan dan pengelolaan sampah yang punya nilai ekonomis.

Subri pun mengajak masyarakat bersama-sama Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo untuk menjaga lingkungan dan peduli terhadap sampah. Sebab, sampah menjadi masalah utama karena tonase sampah yang masuk ke Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir (TPA) di Jalan Anggrek semakin banyak.

Usai dari Pasar Triwung Kidul, dilanjutkan ke Pasar Ketapang yang masih di wilayah Kademangan. Pasar Ketapang terbilang cukup bersih dan tertata rapi. Ketua paguyuban pedagang pasar mempersilahkan wawali siaran langsung di radio dimiliki pasar tersebut.

Melalui radio, wawali menyampaikan beberapa hal soal lingkungan dan program pemerintah. “Tanpa support dari masyarakat, pemerintahan kami tentunya tidak bisa berjalan maksimal. Marilah bersama kami membangun Kota Probolinggo yang lebih baik,” pesannya.

Subri juga berpesan kepada masyarakat turut menjaga lingkungannya dan melakukan 3R (reduse reuse recycle). Ia menyadari jika tidak ada kesadaran dari masyarakat maka upaya yang dilakukan pemerintah akan sia-sia.

Aksi Clean Up berakhir di Taman Wisata Studi Lingkungan (TWSL). Wawali Subri mengaku, aksi yang dilakukan KPL adalah hal yang begitu luar biasa. “Terimakasih kepada para relawan yang sudah melakukan hal semacam ini, kepedulian lingkungannya mendukung program kerja 99 hari kami. KPL sudah melakukan aksi tidak sebatas retorika semata,” ujar politisi Partai Demokrat ini.

Dukungan semacam ini, lanjut Subri, diharapkan tidak hanya sekali saja dilakukan tetapi terus berkelanjutan untuk membantu pemerintah. “Saya sangat mendukung kegiatan ini, semoga ini bukan awal dan akhir lho ya, karena ini adalah gerakan moral,” pesan Subri.

Siti Fatimah, salah satu KPL asal Ketapang mengatakan, ia rela menjadi kader lantaran ingin memberikan contoh ke masyarakat supaya ikut peduli lingkungan. “Saya bisa getuk tular-kan ke para tetangga biar tidak membuang sampah sembarangan. Tidak membakar sampah, dan menjaga perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Saya melakukan sendiri, nanti kan masyarakat bisa sungkan lalu ikut menjaga lingkungan,” katanya. (famydecta/humas)

On Saturday morning, Vice Mayor Muhammad Soufis Subri joined the action of Clean Up, supporting the Day of National Waste Care, along with the Waste Care Cadres (KPL) of Probolinggo City. the action is expected to change the society’s mindset to be a concern more on the environment.

The event took place in several locations. The first one was at tarditional market Triwung Kidul. Tens of KPL participated in the event. Attended the event was Head of Kademangan District Pujo Agung Satrio and the Chairman of Bebek Pro Community, Sudarmanto.

“The Clean Up action was conducted to change the society’s mindset in preserving the environment. To make people aware to not to dispose of the waste improperly. And, this is very fascinating since the Vice Mayor, Subri has joined us,” said the chairman of KPL Bayuangga, Lukman Hakim.

At the market, Subri, along with KPL, cleaned the waste on the roads or below the stall of the traders. While greeting his people, he gave dissemination on environment cleanliness and economic-value waste management.

He asked the people, with the Probolinggo Municipality, to maintain the environment and take good care of waste. Otherwise, waste can be a serious problem since the amount of waste collected to the landfill has been overloaded.

Moving from Triwung Kidul market, the vice mayor continued to Ketapang Market which is relatively clean and neatly ordered. The chairman of the market’s trader association has even let the vice mayor to make live broadcasting on local radio the market has.

Through the radio, the vice mayor has delivered messages on environment and government’s programs. “Without the support of the people, we – the government, would not be working optimally. Let us together to develop a better Probolinggo City,” he said.

Subri also asked the people to always maintain the environment and do 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) movement. He stated that without the support of the people, then the effort made by the government would be wasted.

The Clean Up action ended at Taman Wisata Studi Lingkungan (mini environmental zoo). Vice Mayor Subri admitted that the event was extraordinary. “Thank you the volunteers who have done this activity. The KPL has done an activity which is not only rhetoric,” said the politician of Demokrat Party.

This kind of support, Subri continued, is expected to not only be conducted once but should be sustainable to help the government. “I support this activity; hopefully, it’s not the end of activity since it is a moral movement,” Subri said.

Siti Fatimah, one of the KPL member of Ketapang, said that she wants to be a cadre because she would like to be a role model for the people so that they would take care of the environment. “This way, I can influence other people to not to dispose the waste improperly, not to burn the waste, and to maintain good health. I do it myself, and I hope that people can join me to maintain the environment,” she said.
