The City Promotes Eating-Fish Practice

 

Ikan merupakan sumber protein hewan yang sangat baik untuk tubuh. Pemerintah bahkan mencanangkan Hari Ikan Nasional ( HARKANNAS ) setiap 21 November. Tujuannya, HARKANNAS dapat membangun kesadaran bangsa akan pentingnya sektor perikanan dan kelautan dan juga ketahanan pangan dan gizi nasional. salah satu aspek dicanangkannya HARKANNAS adalah untuk menciptakan para generasi penerus bangsa yang sehat dan cerdas dengan mengonsumsi Ikan.

Bentuk kegiatan yang mendukung HARKANNAS adalah kampanye gemar makan ikan dan menetapkan ikan merupakan salah satu bahan pokok. Budaya mengkonsumsi ikan ini sudah di gaungkan sejak awal tahun 2015.

“Kota Probolinggo sudah menggagas gerakan mengonsumsi ikan saat itu. Dan, tahun ini  dari gemar beranjak menjadi budaya makan ikan,” jelas Wali Kota Probolinggo Rukmini saat pembukaan lomba cipta menu ikan di Gedung Islamic Center, 8 Agustus lalu.

Wali kota mengapresasi  Forum Peningkatan Konsumsi Ikan (Forikan) Kota Probolinggo sebagai satu-satunya kota di Indonesia yang mendapatkan penghargaan Gemar Ikan dari Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan RI, 21 November 2015 lalu.

Untuk membudidayakan makan ikan, Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan setempat mengadakan lomba cipta menu ikan. Tujuannya, untuk menggali potensi masyarakat dalam hal menu olahan ikan. Peserta lomba sebanyak 29 kelurahan, wajib menampilkan dua penyaji dengan tiga varian menu olahan ikan. Yaitu, menu olahan ikan untuk balita, keluarga dan menu kudapan / snack.

Ada 5 kriteria penilaian lomba menu olahan ikan yaitu kreatifitas dalam pengolahan ikan menjadi menu yang berbeda, rasa yang lezat , tampilan / penyajian menu yang menarik, nilai gizi dari menu tersebut serta tidak luput kebersihan dalam pengelolaan menu masakan.

Selain lomba, di lokasi yang sama juga digelar pameran produk olahan ikan binaan DKP. “Untuk memeriahkan cara lomba diselingi fun game seputar ikan dan manfaatnya serta sosialisasi tentang pentingnya mengkonsumsi ikan untuk tubuh yang disampaikan narasumber dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Probolinggo, “ jelas Hasanatul Fahmi, Kasi Penyuluhan dan Izin Perikanan Bidang Usaha Perikanan. Pemenang pertama  lomba cipta menu ikan akan ikut lomba di tingkat Provinsi Jawa Timur mewakili Kota Probolinggo. ikayuniarta

Fish is a source of animal protein which is very good for human body. The government has launched the National Fish Day (HARKANNAS) in every 21 of November. The goal is that HARKANNAS can establish the awareness of a nation of the importance of marine and fisheries  sector and also the importance of food security and national nutrition. One aspect of the introduction of HARKANNAS is to create the healthy and smart nextgeneration by eating fish.

Various activities supporting the HARKANNAS include the campaign of eating fish meal and stipulation of fish to be the main meal. The practice of consuming fish meal has been promoted since early 2015.

“Probolinggo city has already initiated the movement of eating fish at that time. And, in this year, we take a leap to change it into a culture of eating fish meal,” said Mayor Probolinggo Rukmini at the opening of the competition reserved fish menu at the Islamic Centre, on August 8th, 2016.

The mayor appreciated the Forum of Fish Consumption Encouragement (Forikan) of Probolinggo city as the one and only city in Indonesia which was awarded ‘Gemar Ikan’ from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, on November 21st, 2015.

In order to develop the practice of eating fish, Probolinggo city’s Marine Affairs and Fisheries Agency (DKP) held a competition reserved local fish menu. The event was aimed to explore the potential of the community in terms of processed fishmenu. There were 29 sub-districts competing, presenting their 3 processed fish-menu including fish menu for toddlers, families and snack menu / snack.

There were five assessment criteria in the competition including creativity in the processing of fish into a different menu, delicious taste, appearance / presentation of the menu, the nutritional value of the menu and also the hygiene of the menu created.

 

In addition to the competition, at the same location, exhibitions of processed fishproducts developed by DKP was held. “To enliven the race, we also hold a fun game related to fish and its benefits as well as the dissemination of the importance of fish consumption for human body with the speaker from Probolinggo City’s Health Agency,” said Hasanatul Fahmi, the head of Dissemination and Fisheries License section of Fisheries Business division. The first winner of the competition will participate in the provincial competition to represent the city.ikayuniarta
