Habib Hadi mengaku terkesan melihat kreatifitas adik-adik Pramuka.

(famydecta/humas)

Probolingo Mayor Hadi Zainal Abidin was fascinated by Kelir Village on Jalan Merbabu, Triwung Lor sub-district, Kademangan District. In the midst of his busy schedule, he took time to visit the village that the Scout was working on.

From the front of the highway, Habib Hadi – the mayor’s nickname – walked along with the houses of residents who had been painted in colorful colors with various motives. There are polka-dot motifs, lines, abstracts and a number of other motives. Not only the walls, but the roof of the house was also polished with various colors.

Monday (3/18) afternoon, the mayor was accompanied by the Chairman of the Probolinggo City Scout Maskur and other administrators. There was also the head of Triwung Lor sub-district Yanuar Puji Sulistyo and City Council (DPRD) member Andri Purwo Hartono.

Yes, there were 1000 scout members who participated in enlivening the Kampung Kelir Festival in Kampung Sarwega. A total of 100 houses were targeted since March 16-18 2019.

Habib Hadi said he was impressed to see the creativity of the Boy Scouts. “The hope is that this can be done to all villages in Probolinggo City. This activity has a positive impact. This is an example of the extraordinary creativity of young people depending on how to accommodate and facilitate,” he said.

With this kind of village festival, continued Habib Hadi, the younger generation can care more about the environment and realize togetherness because the scout is embedded in his soul about devotion, the love of NKRI and help.

“Without the spirit of a young-generation soul, this might not be like that. Later we will point to slum locations in the Mayangan region, which are densely populated so that the location could be bright and lively. Like when I entered here,” explained Habib Hadi.

“I appreciate this activity. And I hope that each event must provide education. Commitment, loyalty and service values should be improved,” he continued.
