Minggu (28/4), Wakil Wali Kota Probolinggo Mochammad Soufis Subri mendadak nyamperin apresiasi pagi.

Menariknya, ranting kayu mendokumentasikan kegiatan mereka lewat channel YouTube.

(famydecta/humas)

Visitors of Car Free Day (CFD) in Probolinggo city have another reason to come to the event instead of looking for culinary delights. On Jalan Suroyo, in front of the official residence of the vice mayor, they now can enjoy acoustic music performance in the frame of morning appreciation presented by Ranting Kayu Coffee Shop.

Probolinggo Vice Mayor, Mochammad Soufis Subri suddenly made a visit to the event. He accidentally crossed Jalan Suroyo to attend an event at the square. He was surprised because there were two heads of the Regional Working Units (OPD) who joined in singing together.

Vice Mayor Subri did not notice of any such activity even though the morning appreciation has actually been carried out for less than a month in front of his official residence. This is understandable since he just moved to the official residence.

“I like this. Meet in natural conditions, as is. Alhamdulillah, I was able to entertain the people of Probolinggo in the car-free day,” said Subri who seemed very excited to join the event.

Together with the Head of the Public Order (Satpol PP) Agency, Agus Efendi and the Head of Communication and Information Technology (Diskominfo) Agency Aman Suryaman, Subri enjoyed the display of the Ranting Kayu Coffee Shop personnel whose address is on Jalan Mastrip (in front of the Dispenduk Capil Agency). This activity can be a solution to relieve fatigue away from very busy weekdays.

Subri said the morning appreciation became a place for art and Probolinggo Municipality planned to provide a decent place for all the arts in Probolinggo City.

“We hope that the artists can also give us ideas so that we can support the arts better. No need to hesitate, just say it. Develop a city from the side of the arts,” he added.

Vera, the owner of the store, deliberately made a different concept with the appearance of acoustic music in CFD. She brought her own equipment from her shop. “We want to be part of the CFD by providing entertainment to the community too. Anyone who wants to perform a jam with us can come directly,” she said.

Interestingly, this musical group has documented their activities through the YouTube channel. From the channel, they can earn money that they can use together as a source of income.

The head of Diskominfo, who often joins in the event, also considers what they do as interesting. They can give an example for street musicians in the city to take advantage of moments such as CFD as a venue for creativity.

“This idea is pure from them. We only support, motivating them to be more enthusiastic about improving their abilities and producing creative content that has selling value,” said Aman.

They covered the song and then uploaded it on the YouTube channel which can be liked and subscribed. “Their creativity can generate additional income. Hopefully, more and more people can take advantage of this trending social media since many YouTubers are successful and earn some money from it,” Aman added.
