Waspadai Pengiriman TKI ILegal

MAYANGAN –  Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I  Malang menggelar sosialisasi upaya pencegahan dan penanganan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (TKI) non prosedural dan tindak pidana perdagangan orang, Kamis (2/5) di Ball Room Hotel Bromo Park.

Kepala Bidang Perijinan Informasi Keimigrasian, Tati Suviani menjelaskan pekerja migran Indonesia merupakan salah satu aset negara yang memberikan devisa kepada Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Kontribusi yang diberikan oleh pekerja luar negeri sangat berpengaruh penting bagi pembangunan. “Salah satu permasalahan pemerintah Indonesia yaitu pengiriman pekerja migran Indonesia tidak sesuai dengan mekanisme peraturan perundang – undangan yang berlaku,” ujarnya.

Selain itu, Tati juga  mengharapkan terwujudnya peningkatan pemahaman petugas dan instansi terkait maupun pemangku kepentingan terhadap kebijakan pemerintah dan ketentuan peraturan perundang – undangan perlindungan pekerja migran Indonesia keluar negeri.

“Semoga terwujud kerjasama atau jejaring kerja dari instansi terkait maupun pemangku kepentingan untuk mencegah terjadinya pekerja migran Indonesia dalam rangka pencegahan tindak pidana perdaganan orang,” tutupnya.

Wakil Wali Kota Probolinggo, Mohammad Soufis Subri mengatakan terkait bTKI non prosedural atau yang dikenal dengan istilah TKI ilegal, maka harus juga berbicara soal supply dan demand. Dan, yang harus diperhatikan oleh calon TKI, yaitu TKI non prosedural tidak ada perjanjian kerja yang mengatur gaji, jam istirahat dll.

“Jika TKI berangkat secara non prosedural dan ada perusahan atau majikan yang tidak membayar gajinya hingga satu tahun, maka tidak bisa mengadu ke Menteri Tenaga Kerja setempat, karena tidak ada perjanjian kerja antara TKI ilegal dengan majikannya,” jelas wawali.

Lanjut wawali, TKI prosedural/legal diberi pelatihan dulu serta harus menjalani psikotest. Selain itu, juga dikenalkan adat negara setempat, bagaimana bekerja untuk melayani majikan, menguasai bahasa dan mengenal peraturan kerja di negara tersebut.

“Saya berharap kepada seluruh undangan, bisa menyosialisasikan kegiatan ini kepada saudara, kerabat, atau tetangga yang ingin bekerja di luar negeri. Jangan sampai melalui jalur yang tidak prosedural,” harapnya. (mita/humas)

Malang Class I Immigration Office held dissemination as an effort to prevent and handle non-procedural Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) and criminal trafficking in persons, Thursday (2/5) at the Ball Room Hotel of Bromo Park.

Head of Immigration Information Licensing Division, Tati Suviani, explained that Indonesian migrant workers are one of the state assets that provide foreign exchange to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Contributions given by the migrant workers are very important for Indonesia development. “One of the problems of the Indonesian government is that the sending of Indonesian migrant workers is not in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations,” she said.

In addition, Tati also hopes for the realization of an increase in the understanding of officials and relevant agencies and stakeholders on government policies and the provisions of laws and regulations to protect Indonesian migrant workers abroad.

“Hopefully there will be cooperation or networking from relevant agencies and stakeholders to prevent the occurrence of Indonesian migrant workers in the context of preventing criminal acts of trafficking in persons,” she concluded.

Probolinggo Vice Mayor, Mohammad Soufis Subri said that related to non-procedural TKI or known as illegal TKI, then the topic of supply and demand should be talked about either. And, what must be considered by prospective TKI, especially non-procedural TKI, there is no work agreement that regulates salaries, rest hours, etc.

“If a migrant worker departs non-procedurally and there is a company or employer who does not pay their salary up to one year, then he/she cannot complain to the local Manpower Minister, because there is no work agreement between illegal TKI and their employer,” explained Vice Mayor.

The vice mayor continued, procedural / legal TKI were given training first and had to undergo psycho test. In addition, local customs are also introduced, how to work to serve employers, master the language and get to know the work rules in the country they are going to.

“I hope that all invitees can spread this information to relatives or neighbors who want to work abroad. Don’t go through a non-procedural system,” he hoped.
