KADEMANGAN–Kesehatan sopir bus menjadi prioritas ketika menjalankan tugas mengantar penumpang hingga selamat di tempat tujuan. Tidak hanya kondisi fisik sopir, kelaikan kendaraan pun juga wajib diperhatikan sebelum beroperasi.

Untuk memastikan kondisi sopir bus di terminal Kota Probolinggo benar-benar fit, Bagian Dok Kes Polres Probolinggo Kota mengadakan cek kesehatan secara gratis untuk awak armada bus, Senin (13/5). Tercatat ada sekitar 1.500 armada bus yang beroperasi di Terminal Bayuangga ini.

Untuk mengetahui proses pemeriksaan kesehatan tersebut, Wali Kota Probolinggo Hadi Zainal Abidin dan Wawali Soufis Subri bareng Kapolres Probolinggo Kota AKBP Alfian Nurizal juga ikut memantau di Terminal Bayuangga, Kota Probolinggo.

Saat tiga pejabat ini datang, sedang berlangsung pemeriksaan tensi darah kepada salah satu sopir bus PO Ladju. Kebetulan waktu itu, sang sopir memang sedang tinggi tensinya. Erwin, salah satu sopir lainnya pun menjalani tes urine apakah mengandung narkotika atau tidak.

Tidak hanya cek kesehatan, siang itu, AKBP Alfian, Habib Hadi dan Subri sempat mengecek kelaikan sejumlah armada bus yang siap untuk beroperasi. Pengecakan itu meliputi fungsi lampu, rem, wiper (pembersih kaca), hand rem, ban dan klakson.

Menurut Habib Hadi, bus menjadi salah satu moda transportasi pilihan masyarakat dalam momentum mudik Lebaran. Oleh karena itu, pengecekan kesiapan transportasi mudik dan cek kesehatan awak bus merupakan hal yang penting.

Melalui Dinas Perhubungan bekerja sama dengan Terminal Bayuangga yang ada di bawah kewenangan Kementerian Perhubungan, Habib Hadi meminta diakukan kelaikan kendaraan baik di arus mudik dan balik lebaran nantinya.

“Sebagai bentuk antisipasi agar tidak terjadi hal yang tidak diinginkan. Yang penting, bagaimana pelayanan mudik ini berjalan selamat, aman dan lancar. Soal armada, informasi yang saya terima sudah aman cukup, tinggal kelaikannya saja,” kata Habib Hadi.

Sementara itu, Kapolresta AKBP Alfian Nurizal menambahkan, jika kesehatan driver sangat penting. “Kebanyakan memang hipertensi semua sopir-sopir ini. Setelah cek kesehatan kami beri obat penurun tensi. Kami juga cek urine dan alhamdulillah hasilnya negatif, tensinya pun normal,” seru kapolresta.

Soal kelaikan jalan, kelengkapan armada yang harus diperhatikan, kata AKBP Alfian antara lain ban, klakson, wiper dan hand rem. “Tadi kami cek, klakson nyala, lampu nyala, standar normal semua. Nanti pada H-7 kami akan melakukan pengecekan bus transportasi kembali. Itu untuk memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman bagi penumpang,” jelasnya.

Perwira polisi dengan dua melati di pundaknya ini pun meminta kepada awak bus, baik itu driver atau kondektur jika mengalami gangguan kesehatan segera memeriksakan diri di pos kesehatan yang telah disediakan. (famydecta/humas)

The health of bus driver becomes priority when they have to fulfill their task in deliver passangers. Not only driver’s health, but the eligibility of vehicles is also to concern.

To ensure the condition of bus drivers at terminal of Probolinggo city, health affairs department of Probolinggo regional police checked the health of bus crews, on Monday (13/5).  Many 1500 buses operated at Bayuanggaterminal.

To see the health examination of bus crews, Probolinggo mayor Hadi Zainal Abidin and vice mayor Soufis Subri, and also with the chief of regional police AKBP Alfian Nurrizal come to monitor at Bayuangga terminal, Probolinggo city.

When they came, one of Ladju bus driver is checking his blood pressure. He has high blood pressure at that time. Erwin, another driver also check his urine whether it has drug element or not.

Not only health checking, AKBP Alfian, Habib Hadi and Subri also checked the condition of some buses that are ready to go. The checking includes the function of lamp, brake, wiper, hand brake, tire, and horn.

According Habib Hadi, bus is one of transportation that people choose when they go to their hometown (mudik) in Lebaran day. So, it is important to check the health of bus crew and the condition of the bus.

Through Transportation agency in collaboration with Bayuangga terminal which is under Transportation ministry’s responsibility, Habib Hadi asked to check the condition of the vehicle for arus mudik (exodus) and arus balik (counter-exodus) when Lebaran come.

 “(It is) as a prevention to avoid dangerous matters. The important thing is how mudik this time will be safe and smooth. About the buses, according to the information that I’ve heard, there are many buses, but its condition is the other thing,” said Habib Hadi.

Meanwhile, the chief of regional police AKBP Alfian Nurrizal added the health of bus driver is very important. “Most of them has high blood pressure. After checking it, we give them some medicine to decrease their blood pressure. We also checked their urine, and Alhamdulillah they got negative result. And normal result for the blood pressure,” said the chief.

For the condition of buses, there are component that have to be concern, such as tire, horn, wiper and hand brake, that what AKBP Alfian said. “We have checked, the horn is in agood condition, so is the lamp, all of them are normal. Later, we’ll check more on H-7 before Lebaran. It is to give safe and comfortable feeling for the passengers,” said him.

This policeman who has two jasmine in his shoulders asked to all bus crews, if they are not feeling well, they have to examine direct to provided health post.
