Uniknya Jazz Glaser Semipro

 Semalam (29/8) ada yang berbeda di sekitaran Jalan Cokro dan Jalan Mastrip, Kota Probolinggo. Tampilan unik jazz glaser (gladak serang) ikut memeriahkan Seminggu di Kota Probolinggo (semipro). Ribuan pengunjung nampak memadati bunderan yang kini menjadi ikon baru di kota ini. 

“Saya sempet kepikiran apa ada yang lihat kalau di glaser, ternyata banyak ya. Alhamdulillah,” sapa Rukmini begitu antusias ke masyarakat yang hadir. Ya, jazz di jalanan semacam ini tergolong baru di Kota Probolinggo. Karena biasanya aliran musik yang satu ini digelar di indoor, di gunung, pantai hingga hutan bakau.  

Acara malam itu dibuka penampilan UKM musik Universitas Jember, Etnologika. Beberapa lagu dibawakan secara etnik diantaranya lagu anak Kodok Ngorek dan Hanoman Kobong. Kemudian diwarnai musik beatbox yang dilakoni Rizal Al Karimi, salah seorang karyawan Bagian Humas Protokol Setda Kota Probolinggo. 

Berlangsung secara natural, jazz glaser tidak disertai acara ceremonial. Kemasan yang apik membuat undangan dan masyarakat dapat membaur menikmati penampilan kala itu. Diiringi band musik jazz asal Kediri, Green Java, Wali Kota Rukmini pun ikut nimbrung. Orang nomor satu di Kota Probolinggo ini membawakan lagu jazz milik Ermy Kulit berjudul “Kasih” dan lagu “Cinta” dari Vina Panduwinata. 

Tidak hanya wali kota, sejumlah pejabat pun ikut bernyanyi seperti Kepala Dinas PUPR Amin Fredy, Kepala Badan Penanaman Modal dan PTSP Acep Arif Hidayat dan Kepala Disbudpar Agus Efendi. Bunderan glaser sengaja tidak ditutup total agar tetap bisa diakses oleh masyarakat yang ingin melintas. “Kami memohon maaf apabila ada tidak kenyamanan masyarakat atas digelarnya acara ini,” ujar Agus Efendi, malam kemarin. There was something different around Cokro and Mastrip Street, Probolinggo city. A unique jazz performance at gladak serang (glaser) circle has enlightened event Semipro. Thousands of spectators were seen at the circle that has been a new icon of the city. 

“I was wondering if there is any spectators if the event is held at glaser circle. Thank God, it’s very crowded here,” said Rukmini greeting the spectators. Jazz on road is a new thing in the city, because this kind of music is often held at indoor building, mountain, beach or even at mangrove site.

The event was officially opened by the performance of musician from jember University, Etnologika. Several songs were performed including Kodok Ngorek and Hanoman Kobong. The event was featuring a beatbox performance by Rizal Al Karimi, an employee of Public Relation and Protocol Department of Probolinggo Municipality.

Performed in natural way, jazz glaser was without a ceremonial. A nice package of event was delivered to the spectators and they enjoyed the show. Featuring a jazz band from Kediri, Green Java, Mayor Rukmini sang a jazz song entitled “Kasih” and “Cinta”.

Not only the mayor, several officials including the head of PUPR Amin Fredy, head of BPMPTSP, Acep Arif Hidayat and the head of Culture and Tourism Agency, Agus Efendi sang at that night. Glaser circle was not totally closed so that it can be accessed by the citizens who’d like to pass. “We’d like to apologize for the inconvenience,” said Agus Efendi.(translator:alfienhandiansyah)
