Ratusan Siswa Dapat Beasiswa

MAYANGAN – Rabu (13/12) halaman Museum Kota Probolinggo  nampak berbeda dari biasanya. Pasalnya,  Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga (Dikpora) menggelar acara pemberian beasiswa prestasi, bantuan kepada satuan pendidikan dan penandatanganan Naskah Perjanjian Hibah Daerah (NPHD) bosda  sekolah swasta pemerintah Kota Probolinggo tahun 2017.

Kepala Dinas Dikpora Maskur mengatakan, tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk memberikan motivasi kepada siswa – siswi dalam mengembangkan minat, bakat dan kompetensi untuk memperoleh prestasi di bidang akademik dan non akademik, memberikan penghargaan kepada siswa-siswi berprestasi.

“Memberikan motivasi kepada siswa-siswi jenjang SD/MI, SMP/MTs untuk berupaya selalu berprestasi berkarakter dan berkompeten,” ujarnya.

Maskur juga mengatakan di tahun 2018 Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo akan menerapkan digital school, untuk menunjang kegiatan tersebut Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo juga memberikan bantuan diantaranya komputer sebanyak 883 unit untuk UNBK SMP Negeri, meja kursi sebanyak 800 stel untuk kelengkapan UNBK serta PC Server sebanyak 37 unit.

Sementara itu, Wali Kota Probolinggo Rukmini mengatakan Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa – siswi untuk membentuk karakter, budi pekerti sesuai karakter bangsa Indonesia.

“Ini merupakan bentuk perhatian Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo terhadap dunia pendidikan, dengan kegiatan ini agar Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) harus naik,” harapnya.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut Wali Kota juga menandatangani NPHD sebanyak 60 lembaga yang terdiri dari 25 lembaga SD/MI, SMP/MTs swasta penerima bosda, 31 lembaga penerima BPPDGS Madin, 4 lembaga BOP Paud. 

Pada kesempatan itu, secara simbolis wali kota juga memberikan beasiswa prestasi akademik dan non akademik kepada 988 siswa. Diantaranya nilai raport tertinggi SD sebanyak 598 siswa, SMP 249 siswa, kejuaraan akademis SD 17 siswa, SMP 22 siswa, serta kejuaraan non akademis sebanyak 23 siswa dan SMP sebanyak 79 siswa. Probolinggo Museum looks different than usual. The Agency of Education, Youth and Sport (Disdikpora) held a scholarship program, and aid for education unit and the signing of Agreement of Regional Grant (NPHD) of the so-called school operational aid (bosda) for private schools of Probolinggo Municipality in 2017.

Head of Disdikpora Maskur said the purpose of this event is to motivate students in developing interest, talent and competence to gain achievement in academic and non-academic field, giving awards to the student’s achievement.

“Providing motivation to students in elementary/MI and junior high-school/MTs to always try to have characterized achievement and to always have competency,” he said.

Maskur also said that in 2018, Probolinggo Municipality will implement digital school. In order to support this program, Probolinggo Municipality provides 883 units of computers for the implementation of national exam UNBK SMP Negeri, 800 sets of table and chair UNBK and 37 units of PC Server.

Meanwhile, Probolinggo Mayor Rukmini said that the municipality gives opportunity to the students to form character, morality characteristic of Indonesian nation.

“This is a form of the municipality’s attention to the world of education, by having this program, the Human Development Index (HDI) should rise,” she hopes.

In this opportunity, the mayor also signed NPHD as many as 60 institutions consisting of 25 institutions of elementary school SD/MI, private junior high-school SMP/MTs who received bosda, 31 institutions receiving BPPDGS Madin, 4 institutions of BOP Paud.

In this event, the mayor also symbolically handed over scholarship for academic and non-academic field to 988 students. The categories for the scholarship are handed over to those who achieve the highest grades of primary school as many as 598 students, 249 students of junior high-school, academic championship for 17 elementary-school students, 22 junior high-school students, and non-academic championship as many as 23 elementary-school students and 79 junior high-school students.(translator:alfienhandiansyah)
