Dua Keluarga Nelayan Terima Klaim Asuransi

KANIGARAN – Wali Kota Probolinggo Rukmini menyerahkan klaim asuransi Jasindo kepada dua keluarga nelayan yang meninggal dunia, Senin (15/1). Kedua nelayan yang mendapat dana santunan adalah Anisa dan Sauntung, warga Kelurahan Pilang, Kecamatan Kademangan. 

Santunan untuk Anisa senilai Rp 20 juta diterima oleh sang suami, Sutarto. Sedangkan santunan Rp 160 juta untuk Sauntung diterima Misri, istri almarhum. Penyerahan santunan klaim asuransi bagi nelayan ini, Wali Kota Rukmini didampingi Sekda dr Bambang Agus, Asisten Administrasi Umum Rey Suwigtyo dan Kepala Dinas Perikanan Budi Krisyanto. 

Menurut cerita Sutarto, istrinya meninggal pada tahun 2017 lalu karena sakit. Pencari kerang remis itu hanya mengeluh sakit kepala kemudian meninggal dunia. “Terus kata dokternya sakit jantung,” tutur Sutarto, saat bertemu wali kota di ruang transit pemkot setempat. 

Sedangkan Sauntung, kata Misri, sepulang dari laut suaminya jatuh dan kakinya tidak bisa berjalan. Setelah dibawa ke puskesmas ternyata Sauntung menderita stroke. Ia pun dibawa ke RSUD dan divonis sakit komplikasi. Karena kematian suaminya, Misri mendapat santunan sebesar Rp 160 juta dari Jasindo. 

Nominal dana santunan yang diterima dua nelayan ini berbeda, karena Sauntung meninggal pada tahun 2016, pada waktu itu aturannya setiap nelayan yang meninggal mendapat santunan Rp 160 juta. Sedangkan mulai tahun 2017 aturannya pun berbeda, disesuaikan dengan usia peserta asuransi. 

Kabid Pengembangan Usaha Dinas Perikanan Kota Probolinggo, Fitriawati menjelaskan, asuransi ini merupakan kebijakan kementerian untuk melindungi nelayan dan keluarganya karena pekerjaan yang penuh resiko. “Tahun 2016 ada 443 nelayan di Kota Probolinggo yang mendapat kartu asuransi. Tahun 2017 sebanyak 529 nelayan,” jelasnya. 

Siang itu, Wali Kota Rukmini mengecek sendiri nama yang tertera dalam buku rekening penerima santunan. Ia tidak mau ada kesalahan administrasi yang dianggap menjadi permasalahan ke depannya. Ia pun berharap uang santunan dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kelangsungan hidup mereka nantinya. “Selamat mendapat bantuan asuransi,” kata Rukmini. 

Kepada wali kota, baik Misri dan Sutarto mengaku akan menggunakan dana tersebut untuk kebutuhan sekolah dan menjadi modal usaha. “Buat modal usaha sama biaya sekolah anak,” tutur Misri yang baru saja mengadakan pengajian 100 meninggalnya sang suami. (famydecta/humas)

 

The mayor of Probolinggo Rukmini handed over Jasindo insurance claims to the family of fishermen who have died, on Monday (15/01). The fishermen are Anisa and Sauntung, the residents of Pilang village, Kademangan subdistrict.

The compensation for Anisa is about 20 million rupiahs, received by her husband, Sutarto, and 160 million rupiah is the compensation for Sauntung which is received by his wife, Misri. This time, the mayor is accompanied by the regional secretary, dr. Bambang Agus, the assistant of general administration, Rey Suwigtyo and the head of fishery agency, Budi Krisyanto.

According to Sutarto, his wife was died on 2017 from her sudden illness. That mussels seeker just felt headaches before her death. “Doctor said it was heart attack,” Sutarto told the mayor in her office.

Meanwhile, Misri, Sauntung’s wife said that his husband fell after sailing and was not able to walk, and he had complications lead to his death.

The amount of the compensation given to those families was different. Sauntung was died on 2016 and the rules stated that the insurance claim will get 160 million rupiahs for the died fishermen that time. But the rules were changed on 2017, the amount of insurance claims were adjusted by the age of the insurance members.

The head of Fishery business developmet deparment on fishery agency, Fitriawati explained that the insurance is the ministry policy for fishermen’s protection as their risky job. “On 2016, there were 443 fishermen as the insurance members, and there were more 529 fishermen on 2017,” explained her.

That afternoon, the mayor Rukmini  checked by herself for this compensation. She does not allow any maladministration that will make any problems in the future. She hopes that this compensation will give some benefits for their life. “Congratulation for this compensation,” said Rukmini.

Misri and Sutarto said that the fund will be used for their children education and for business. “It is for making some business and educational fund,” said Misri who had just commemorated 100 days following the death of his husband.
