Mayangan – Perhelatan Seminggu di Kota Probolinggo (Semipro) kali ini sangat spesial. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya kontingen asing yang ikut menyemarakkan event tahunan ini. Terdapat tiga negara yang mengirim delegasi keseniannya, yakni Korea Selatan, Malaysia, dan Philipina. Ketiga kontingen ini akan menampilkan kesenian khas mereka pada saat pembukaan Semipro (29/8) dan pertunjukan Cross Culture (Pertukaran Budaya) yang dilaksanakan di depan museum (31/8) dan juga didepan kantor wali kota Probolinggo (1/9). Untuk menunjukkan rasa hormatnya, walikota Probolinggo menerima ketiga kontingen tersebut di rumah dinas Wali kota, Sabtu (01/9).

Dalam kesempatan ini, wali kota Probolinggo Rukmini menyampaikan terima kasih kepada ketiga kontingen karena telah memperkenalkan kebudayaan negara mereka di Kota Probolinggo. “Terima kasih telah datang ke Kota Probolinggo dan menyemarakkan Semipro,” katanya. dia juga menjelaskan bahwa Semipro merupakan event tahunan yang berisi segala seni dan budaya yang ada di Kota Probolinggo. “Semoga dengan melihat kesenian dari ketiga negara ini, para generasi muda dapat terpacu untuk lebih mengenal seni budaya mereka dan bisa memperkenalkannya dikancah internasional,” kata Rukmini.

Selama di Kota Probolinggo, para peserta kontingen juga menikmati semua hal yang ada, mulai dari belajar membatik di UMKM, mengunjungi salah satu destinasi wisata di Kota Probolinggo, BJBR, dan tak lupa juga menikmati kegiatan yang menjadi agenda Semipro, misalnya karapan Sapi Brujul.

Jay Nayoung, salah satu peserta dari kontingen Korea Selatan mengatakan sangat menikmati waktu di Kota Probolinggo. “You have nice people, nice weather, we really enjoy here (Disini orangnya ramah, cuacanya juga bagus, kami sangat menikmatinya),” katanya. dia juga sangat tertarik dengan karapan sapi brujul yang dilihatnya. “Unfornately, we don’t know the winner, we’ll leave tomorrow morning (Sayangnya kami tak tahu pemenangnya, kami akan pergi besok pagi),” katanya.

Salah satu peserta dari Philipina juga mengatakan sangat menikmati kedatanggannya di Kota Probolinggo. “I love the food, it’s good, (saya menyukai makanannya, enak),” dan dia mengaku bahwa pada jamuan makan ini dia sudah tiga kali tambah. Dia juga tak masalah dengan Kota Probolinggo yang berangin. “It’s okay, we used to it, cause in philippines we have a thypoon on around September, Oktober, and November (Tidak masalah, kami sudah terbiasa, karena di Philipina kami mengalami angin topan sekitar bulan September, Oktober dan November,” dia berkata.

Ketiga kontingen ini berjumlah 42 orang yang terdiri atas 18 orang kontingen Korea Selatan, 19 orang kontingen dari Philipina dan 5 orang dari Malaysia. Mereka didatangkan ke Kota Probolinggo oleh Jaringan Kota Pusaka Indonesia (JKPI)_hariyantiagustina

 

Dinner with Foreign Contingent

Seminggu di Kota Probolinggo (Semipro) is very special this time. This is due to the presence of a foreign contingent who enliven this annual event. There are three countries that send art delegations, namely South Korea, Malaysia and Philippines. The three contingents will show their distinctive art at the opening of Semipro (29/8) and the performance of Cross Culture (Cultural Exchange) held in front of the museum (31/8) and also in front of the Probolinggo mayor’s office (1/9). To show her respect, the mayor of Probolinggo received the three contingents at the Mayor’s official residence on Saturday (01/09).

On this occasion, Mayor of Probolinggo Rukmini expressed her gratitude to the three contingents for introducing their culture in Probolinggo City. “Thank you for coming to Probolinggo city and for enlivening Semipro,” she said. She also explained that Semipro is an annual event that contains all arts and cultures of Probolinggo city. “Hopefully, by looking at the arts of these three countries, the younger generation can be encouraged to know their own cultural arts and be able to introduce them to international level,” said Rukmini.

While Probolinggo city, those contingent also enjoyed all kind of things, starting from learning to make batik, visiting one famous tourist destination in Probolinggo City, BJBR, and enjoying Semipro agendas, such as the Karapan Sapi Brujul (Cow race).

One participant from the Philippines also said that he really enjoyed his time in Probolinggo city. “I love the food, it’s good,” he said. And he admitted that he had three times at the banquet. He also does not have a problem with the windy weather of Probolinggo city. “It’s okay, we used to it, cause in philippines we have a thypoon on around September, October, and November,” he said.
